Mini BIO's: Mina Whitesides It all began with an awakening. After twenty-five years of co-writing with her then-husband and creative partner, Portland songwriter, Mina Whitesides discovered something new: her own voice. But it was not without sacrifice. Her path of self-discovery was spurred by a growing distance in her marriage, which eventually ended. It was then that Mina sought to reclaim her sense of self. Currently, Mina and her band Soul Righters, eagerly await the international release of music out of Toronto, where she has been working for the last five years with producer and founder of Music Mentor Productions, Peter Linseman, and vocalist, Carla Sacco. In her own home-town of Portland, OR, exciting projects have taken root in the last year. Mina has several recordings and videos created including the soon-to-be released single 'Aftershock' from her work with producer, Matt Greco of The Rye Room and collaborating with Peter Linseman. What’s clear is that Mina Whitesides has found her mission: To create purpose-driven pop and adult contemporary songs that weave together lyrics from life’s experiences. By all definitions, Carla Sacco is an anomaly! Vocalist, musician, songwriter, producer and video director are no exception. You must see and hear Carla Sacco to experience this! Her accomplishments below are a start...Carla Sacco, MS Ed, BA, OCT, PhD (HC) - She's been rated the #1 tribute artist internationally, live for millions of people, fronting over 2500 concerts, for crowds of us to 30,000, globally. She is a Hollywood Music in Media Award nominee, an International Women Achievers Award IWAA Inspirational Award recipient, CMT reality television star, a featured artist of Nobel Peace Prize nominated and United Nations affiliated World Academy of Arts, Literature and Media, VP of Heritage Canada funded Hometown Music Council, and VP of Music Mentor Productions. For 2 decades, she has provided expertise and inspiration to youth, family, multicultural, and performing arts organizations (e.g. United Way, Youth Haven, Warm Coats Warm Hearts, Autism Sings, Victorian Order of Nurses, etc.). Her work has had award-winning impact in the areas of health, mental health, hunger, homelessness, domestic violence, persons with disabilities, and gender and ethnicity equality. Carla was bestowed the City of Toronto’s Award of Distinguished Citizenship for community service work, a 4-year Governors’ Scholarship to McMaster University, the Top Broadcaster Award from the National Institute of Broadcasting, honorary ACTRA membership for extensive contributions to Canadian performing arts communities and Miss Ethnic Press Council of Canada designation. Carla holds a Master of Science in Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, an honorary PhD in Christian Counselling, and she is a certified high school teacher. |

Peter Linseman
Working 20 years as owner of Music Mentor Productions (MMP), a CCMA nominated recording studio & Independent Record Label, Peter Linseman has worn every hat imaginable in the music industry. On top of his label responsibilities, he has written/co-written over 500 songs, produced/co-produced over 1000 songs and managed many artists' careers including popular actress / multi-talented eOne Music country artist Kate Todd. Peter is the President of Heritage Canada funded Hometown Music Council, a founding director of and Building Bands Canada, founding director and Executive Director of the SIPO Foundation. SIPO’s flagship event is the Power of Ideas Conferences and became involved as a guest speaker at SIPO’s 2012 Power of Ideas Conference with keynote speaker Arlene Dickinson. Peter started and still manages the first Toronto Regional Writers Group for the Songwriters Association of Canada. As Musical Director for Canadian Chinese Idol, Peter was appointed as the first official North American composer for China’s top superstar Laure Shang. Peter made international history by writing and producing We Will Fly for Laure Shang, a hit single in China.
