Dylan Hennessy
Dylan Hennessy is a Torontonian singer/songwriter who's passion for the art has led him to a career in the music business. As an graduate of Seneca College's "Independent Music Production" program, he is a versatile musician, spanning an array of instruments in a variety of genres, with his live show consisting of a combination of thoughtful ballads and "progressive singer/songwriter".
At the end of 2013, Dylan sought out the help of bandmates. He would find Eric Berall (Johnny Red Eyes, NXNE) and Robert Patterson (Aviation, CMW) to bring his live sound to the next level. Dylan and his band would go on to play some of Toronto's most competitive stages over the next year in both independently organized showcases as well as festival performances, which included making it to the semi-finals in Indie Week 2014 as well as multiple showcases at NXNE 2014.
With 2 years of working at radio stations and graduating from Seneca’s Radio Broadcasting program, Dylan is the perfect DJ and radio airplay tracker! He tries to incorporate as much influence from as many styles as he can into his own creations, with elements of soul, folk, rock and even celtic music. Using live-looping and unconventional guitar playing, Dylan creates what he calls an "acoustic variety act". Right now, Dylan is currently the host and organizer of the seasonal local acoustic showcase, "Acoustic Addiction", and is working at Music Mentor Productions.
