John Chris Ford
John Chris Ford is so much more than just a great country singer/songwriter. He is a cowboy, top to bottom and he carries that cowboy authenticity onto the stage with him. John Chris Ford is following up his FACTOR funded national radio release ‘Show Me Your Boots’, an upbeat song with a sweet groove with his current national radio release ~ ‘Break It’ Purchase on iTunes and Listen on Spotify.
Over loaded with a charisma and humble confidence, JC has been singing professionally for almost 2 decades. He was a featured artist at two high profile showcases during the 2016 CCMA’s in London Ontario - BX 93 Artist Spotlight and ‘Country's Future Showcase’ hosted by Music Mentor Productions, BX 93 & CTV London. This year at the 2018 CCMA’s, JC was the co-creator & HOST of the ‘Canadian Country Artist Showcase Hamilton’ #CCASH with presenting sponsors - Linda Ewing (LE Music Promotions) and CCASH co-creator Peter Linseman (Music Mentor Productions). JC and team successfully executed an incredible event that showcased over 60 artists, for 4 days & nights at hosting venues 33 Bowen – a true "Hamilton monument" and a second venue with 2 stages – The George Hamilton! (more info below) JC's had a slew of 1st place and 2nd place finishes in singing contests, such as Jack Hammers Country Club Contest 2011 - which won him a performance at the Furgus Truck Show and the Cambridge Fair; 1st place at the Hagersville Idol; placed top 10 at the CNE Open Country Singing Contest; 2 CMT Karaoke Star Search Contests; won Karaoke King of Southern Ontario in 1999 at 20 years old. At the age of 8 years old, JC already knew his calling was music and was the youngest performer ever at Kilbride Public School Talent Show. JC is playing many venues across southern Ontario. He has a residency with country rock band "Steel City" that started in 2016 and performs in Hamilton, Brantford, Cambridge, Ancaster, Guelph, Toronto. He held a weekly residency for over ten years at Colby’s Bar in Hamilton Ontario. JC is a father of 2 girls Grace-Lynn and Alyssa Marie. Both named after his biggest influence Elvis Presley. With the sudden death of lifelong best friend/manager, tragedy struck JC’s life. He had to take a sabbatical to find his smile again. During this time of reflection, JC was prolific, songwriting every day. Today we’re glad he’s back in the saddle and feel he’s about to put the country music world on notice.
